As a voiceover talent, my life is creative in that I bring people’s words to life. And I love my job!
What I have rediscovered, is that I also love to create visual art. For many years I let that part of me fall by the wayside, but if the pandemic has taught us anything it’s that we need to take time to live life and find those activities which bring us joy. (OK…Marie Kondoing your closet not withstanding! 😉 )
So, here are some pieces that I recently created.
In a guided meditation, it was suggested to “give your anger to the trees.”
They take it, transform it, and use it to nourish us and heal the world.
I was inspired to create this piece.
The words are: Give your anger to the trees, they will soak it up and heal the world. ~ Breathe.
We all want to feel like we fit, have a place, belong.
Here’s a secret: You already do.
There is a difference between getting in the GROOVE and being stuck in a RUT. Thake a chance and SKIP through life. Choose the song that makes your heart sing.
In honor of two great men, this piece came to me:
Only in the darkness can you see the Stars. ~ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Hope is being able to see the light despite all of the darkness. ~ Desmond Tutu
“We can choose to throw stones, to stumble on them,
to climb over them, or to build with them.”
~William Arthur Ward
After a conversation with a friend, I was inspired to create this piece
to encourage us all to break down the walls around our hearts,
in order to find the Peace we all so desperately want in our lives.
